About

In 1953 Michael Camp purchased seven acres of land on the 6900 block of Lowell Blvd. in the of Westminster, Colorado. He was a retired truck driver with dreams of owning his own business. He proceeded to start a company called Camps Korner in which he built some rentals and started a separate business called Camps Rocky Mountain Cut Stone.

Grandpa and Mike

In the beginning he offered a small variety of stone such as landscape gravels, moss rock and Colorado red and buff flagstone. Back then all the flagstone was cut by hand and all the landscape was loaded the same by hand!   Over the years we’ve offered delivery service to our customers.

Over the years as business grew so did the company.  Then, we slowly started adding machinery to aid in the the growth.

In 1973 Mike Camp retired and sold the business to Bill Borton. Over the course of the next 27 years Bill added two seven foot stone cutting machines and  two  water saws as well as forklifts and front end loaders. Even though the name changed in 1997, the location and the way of doing business never did change. Mike  ( the grandson of Michael E. Camp) still preaches customer service to all of his employees even though most have been with him over ten years. The company motto is for every customer that comes on the yard, make sure that they leave with exactly what they came for.

We also offer a large range of different types of stone from all 50 states as well as Canada and Mexico.

Camp-Stone is always looking for new and different stone for their customers.  Now,  offering a line of thin stone veneer in addition to our full veneer line. We have always kept the thought that customer satisfaction is  number one.

Our premise is that we  will go that extra mile to make sure that all our customers get what they order and our 100% satisfied. We have been a member of the BBB for over thirty years in very good standing.
